Pigeon Chat One Loft Race

Andy Galley & John Howman

"you have be in it to win it"
£250 for three birds

Pigeon Chat One loft race 2008

Loft Managers     Andy Galley,  John Howman        Loft Location Manchester

Andy is a very well respected fancier and is renown for his young bird racing, winning at all levels including some fantastic results in the Bamford Gold ring races. He is still the only fancier on his side of Manchester to win the Three Counties Nantes race.

John who has taken on managing the admin and newsletter updates as well as jointly managing the web site and race birds has raced birds for 30 years with moderate success, and will be full time at the lofts ensuring the birds every last need is taken care off as well as looking after public relations.

The lofts are home made with the birds comfort and health in mind and will house 500 birds comfortably with provision to house 1000 pigeons if required.

The bird’s health will be looked after by Ian Cameron from Manor court veterinary practice.  Andy was most impressed with Ian’s knowledge and help in last years pigeon chat one loft race and the help afforded to pigeon chat members.

Their will be 4 hot spot races and the final race will be from 200 miles, with prize money being paid out pro rata, number of entries at 500 birds the final race first prize will stand at £10,000. 1000 birds would push the first prize to a cool £20,000 with a Car up for grabs for the Ace pigeon all races.

We look forward to looking after and racing this years entrants, and the many new friends that we will undoubtedly make along the way. We will keep you updated on a very regular basis with lots of photographs and the occasional video via ‘You Tube’ and a newsletter with loft reports.
